When the National Security Agencys invincible code-breaking machine encounters a mysterious code it cannot break, the agency calls its head cryptographer.

Whether or not you’ll like the feel of it, you can only tell when you put it down. The story revolves around an endless premise of codes, cryptography, and computers. Overall, Digital Fortress is a good book that you can read with great anticipation. The year 1998 consisted of global technological advancements, and writing a techno-thriller in that era was eloquently profound and a milestone for any writer. Nevertheless, it’s an interesting read given the year it was released in.

Although being Dan Brown’s debut novel, ‘Digital Fortress’ does not really shine under the spotlight as compared to his other books, and hence is less sought after.
